Korea’s top professional League of Legends circuit will return to Vietnam this weekend for the second Korea Travel Festa in Ho Chi Minh City. The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) announced that its delegation will appear at the Gem Center on June 21 and 22 to promote Korean tourism alongside the Korea Tourism Organization.

Following its inaugural visit in 2024, the LCK visit this year will be highlighted by DRX bottom laner Trần "LazyFeel" Bảo, who became the first non-Korean competitor to play in an official LCK match. Born in Vietnam, he joined DRX’s main roster in 2024 and helped end the team’s seven-match skid with standout performances, securing his place in the starting lineup.

The roster traveling to Ho Chi Minh City will include mid laner Son "Ucal" Woo-hyeon, support Son "Lehends" Si-woo of Nongshim RedForce, top laner Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon, and former KT Rolster star and LCK champion Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho. Together, they will showcase Korean destinations tied to esports, such as the LoL Park complex, at a shared booth with Woori Bank.

Activities will open on June 21 morning with a press session for Vietnamese media, followed by a fan talk show in the afternoon. The event schedule also features 2v2 game demonstrations with local influencers, autograph signings, and giveaways of LCK merchandise. All events will be streamed live on the LCK Vietnam YouTube channel, which has grown to more than 930,000 subscribers.

The Korea Travel Festa, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, aims to leverage the popularity of Korean culture and esports to encourage travel to Korea. The LCK, which launched in 2012, holds a record nine League of Legends World Championship titles and attracts around four million viewers daily across five broadcast languages.
