Players of Valorant have contributed more than $5 million to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund through this year’s Give Back Bundle, pushing the total raised by Valorant community bundles since 2021 past $23 million. The annual in-game package offers exclusive cosmetics in exchange for donations, with proceeds directed to the nonprofit initiative that channels player generosity into global philanthropic projects.
Launched in 2019 in partnership with ImpactAssets, the Social Impact Fund operates as an independent entity, enabling Riot Games and its community to invest directly in organisations tackling challenges in education, economic opportunity, civic engagement and environmental sustainability. By inviting players to nominate charitable groups and vote on grant recipients, the fund streamlines cross-border giving and accelerates support where it is needed most.

This year’s bundle maintained the model that allows nominations from players worldwide and grant distribution in nearly every region where Riot Games has a presence. Funds are allocated following independent review by ImpactAssets, which ensures adherence to international compliance standards and Riot’s strict non-discrimination policy. The policy bars support for organisations that discriminate on the basis of race, age, national origin, political affiliation, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or religious belief.
Since its inception, the Social Impact Fund has directed investments to more than 450 organisations across 28 regions, emphasising long-term, evidence-based interventions and co-development of projects to address systemic issues. The fund’s most recent Impact Report highlights partnerships ranging from educational equity programmes to initiatives promoting environmental resilience.
Riot Games handles employee donation matching separately and excludes individual fundraisers, political or religious donations, and corporate branding events from the Social Impact Fund’s remit. As Riot expands its offerings across multiple games and media, the Give Back Bundle continues to serve as a scalable avenue for players to unite around social causes, with the latest campaign reinforcing the community’s capacity to drive meaningful change.
