Netmarble has opened Early Access Phase 2 for The King of Fighters AFK in Canada, Indonesia and the Philippines. The title transforms SNK’s storied fighting franchise into an idle role-playing experience, featuring pixel-art renditions of classic combatants and automated 5-on-5 battles that accelerate character progression.

Players gain access to more than 100 fighters, including 36 designated as Legendary Heroes, alongside 38 Supporters and 17 collectible Pets. Early Access Phase 2 adds ten PvE dungeons that present varied challenges and growth rewards, while a sprawling campaign encompasses 9,000 stages. Competitive engagement comes via 15 distinct PvP modes and ranking challenges where strategic deck composition and fighter formation are key.

To mark the milestone, participants logging in during the Open Beta Test Special Login Reward event will receive the Legendary Hero Ryo Sakazaki, with Li Xiangfei and Momoko joining as Day 1 and Day 2 login bonuses. Additional incentives—such as in-game currency and a Legendary Fighter Summon Ticket—are granted through a Server Launch Celebration check-in series. Pick-Up Summon events spotlight Mai Shiranui and Chizuru Kagura, whose shared “Fury” synergy enhances team performance when deployed together. Special time-limited events like the Lucky Elpy Event and Elpy’s Dream Land further expand available content.

Global pre-registration remains open on Google Play, the App Store and the official website. Early registrants can claim up to 3,000 free draws, increasing chances to recruit powerful fighters, and are guaranteed to acquire Vice, the Orochi-powered secretary, upon launch.
