Red Bull Kumite, one of the most prestigious fighting game tournaments, is set to return to Paris for its 10th anniversary, bringing high-level Street Fighter 6 competition to La Maison de la Mutualité on April 5–6, 2025.
The tournament, known for its intense matchups and signature cage battles, will feature 16 top competitors, including eight renowned Street Fighter veterans and eight challengers vying to make a name for themselves. Two of those challengers will emerge from the Last Chance Qualifier and Play-In tournament, set to take place on April 5. Open bracket registration begins Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. CET via Start.gg.
The main event on April 6 will feature Red Bull Kumite’s signature format, including a live bracket draw and first-to-five, single-elimination matches.
Last year’s Red Bull Kumite in New York saw 16 of the world’s best Street Fighter 6 players battle inside the cage at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, culminating in a dominant championship victory for Saul “MenaRD” Mena. The 2017 Capcom Cup winner delivered a flawless 5-0 performance in the grand finals against Du “NuckleDu” Dang, showcasing his mastery of Blanka in one of the most decisive title matches in Red Bull Kumite history.
The event featured a mix of established stars and rising talent, including Shin “Leshar” Moon-sup and Tsunehiro “Gachikun” Kanamori, highlighting the evolving landscape of competitive Street Fighter. With its return to Paris for its 10th anniversary, Red Bull Kumite 2025 promises another chapter of intense competition, as legends face off against a new wave of challengers looking to leave their mark.
Spectator tickets for Red Bull Kumite Paris are now available at Eventbrite. The tournament will once again partner with AGON by AOC as the official monitor provider, alongside PlayStation Tournaments and Opel.
