The annual VTuber Awards are making a comeback this December, promising an enhanced experience for virtual content creators and their fans. Organized by Filian in partnership with Mythic Talent and WePlay Studios, the event aims to celebrate the rapidly growing VTubing community with new categories, fresh faces, and a revamped venue.
Founded in 2023, the VTuber Awards have quickly become the premier accolade ceremony for virtual creators, recognizing their significant contributions to streaming culture worldwide. This year’s edition seeks to build on last year’s success by incorporating higher production values, including advanced graphics and motion capture technology, according to Filian, a key organizer.
“We're excited to bring together more VTubers from around the globe for our live event,” Filian said. “Our team is elevating the production across the board to honor the creators and content that make VTubing great.”
The awards ceremony, scheduled for December 14, will feature 22 categories ranging from Best Music VTuber and Best Art VTuber to Rising Star and VTuber of the Year. Other notable categories include Best Tech VTuber, Funniest VTuber, and Most Dedicated Fan Base. Additionally, special recognitions like VTuber Parent of the Year and Hidden Gem will highlight diverse talents within the community.
All VTubers are encouraged to participate, regardless of genre, gender, audience size, or language. Submissions are open to all, with winners in each category determined through a public vote later this fall. Interested participants can apply via the official VTuber Awards website, where detailed competition rules are available.
Produced by WePlay Studios, the live-streamed ceremony will be broadcast on Filian’s official Twitch channel, allowing fans worldwide to join the celebration. To stay updated on the latest developments and announcements, followers can connect with the VTuber Awards on platforms including X, TikTok, and Instagram, as well as through Filian’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
