The following was sent as a press release to Inven Global.
Prepare your virtual tabletops for all out war as Tales & Tactics launches today on PC.
From Yogscast Games and Table9, the developers of the Slay the Spire Downfall mod which received more than 1 million downloads, this Roguelike Autobattler sees players build their armies in a Tabletop RPG setting. Tales & Tactics launches after one year in Early Access and with more than 100 new units, additional regions, mechanics and acts, and a reworked difficulty system all added to the game - it’s safe to say this is an entirely different proposition after 365 days of fan feedback.
Players looking to test their metal against AI can explore everything this unique story has to offer, meeting celebrity battlers and carving their own legend in the Tournament. Those who want to bring their armies to bear against other people, never fear, PvP mode will now add a new dimension to this gripping tactical experience.
To find out more about Tales & Tactics you can check out the Steam page here, where it is available for wishlisting and will launch out of Early Access with a 30 percent discount off the usual price of $17.99/£14.99/ €17.49.
About Yogscast Games
Yogscast Games was established in 2017, with a simple goal: to work with small teams to develop and publish games which are as fun to watch as they are to play. Its most recent releases have included poker-powered deckbuilding game ‘Aces & Adventures’, the wickedly amoral ‘Trolley Problem, Inc.’ and the wildly successful restaurant management roguelike ‘PlateUp!’.
About Table 9 Studio
Based in Michigan, Table 9 Studio is primarily composed of a duo of brothers, previously working on MMORPG Marvel Heroes Omega, and a young Slay the Spire modding prodigy. With the success of Downfall under their belt, they look to expand their creative potential by utilising their experience for Table 9’s own unique titles.
