KeSPA announced the rosters for the esports teams at the Hangzhou Asian Games to be held in September. The candidates for the Asian Games were selected by council members and coach recommendation, and were confirmed.
□ League of Legends
The candidates for League of Legends were confirmed from the 20 reserved candidates based on the results of the past two years, including domestic and international competitions, and detailed stats by position.
The final candidates are Choi "Zeus" Woo-je, Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon, Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk, and Ryu "Keria" Min-seok.
□ PUBG Mobile
The candidates for PUBG Mobile were selected based on the evaluation index for the Asian Game version of the game, and after a closed evaluation, five final members were selected among the 16 candidates.
The PUBG Mobile team players are Kwon “BINI” Soon-bin, Kim “TIZ1” Dong-hyun, Kim “SPORTA” Seong-hyun, Park “FAVIAN” Sang-cheol, and Choi “Cyxae” Young-jae.
□ Street Fighter V
For Street Fighter V, the top two players from the national team trails, Yeon Jae-gil and Kim Kwan-woo were selected.
□ FIFA Online 4
For FIFA Online 4, the candidates were evaluated based on the major tournaments after the national team trials, and the final two members were decided after coach evaluation as well. The players are Kwang Jun-hyeok and Park Gi-yeong.
As of this announcement, the final 15 members of the esports national team were confirmed. KeSPA will receive any objections until June 3 and will submit the final entry to the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. Once confirmed by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, the candidates will be fixed as the players for the national esports team.
