The captain of DRX's Tekken team, Bae "Knee" Jae-min, recorded his 100th professional Tekken championship.

Although an unofficial count, winning 100 tournaments is a feat that only a select few could hope to achieve in esports history. 

KNEE recorded his first official championship in 2007 in a Tekken 5 tournament, and 15 years later, he now stands proud with 100 championships under his decorated career. 

He was absent from professional play between 2008 and 2009 due to his mandatory military service, but he soon began to record an unprecedented number of championships after returning to the scene in 2010.

Most notably in 2010, KNEE was selected as part of the national Korean team and took home the championship in the World Cyber Games (WCG); the first year where Tekken was selected as an official category in the WCG. According to KNEE, this event was his most memorable tournament of his career thus far.

Shortly after securing even more titles, KNEE entered EVO - arguably the largest FGC tournament in the world - in 2013 and took home the title on his first appearance.

From 2016 to 2017, KNEE showed slight regression in the beginning, but in 2017, Tekken World Tour (TWT) officially began and KNEE signed his first professional esports team contract with ROX Gaming. With ROX, KNEE destroyed the competition and took home the title from nearly every tournament he entered.

In fact, for the first 13 years of his career between 2004 to 2017, KNEE only recorded 22 championships. But since then, KNEE has recorded a dominating 78 championships in merely five years from 2017 to 2022. And since transferring from ROX to DRX in December 2021, KNEE has secured 21 championships in less than a year with DRX.

The beginning of 2020 saw the world halt due to COVID-19 pandemic, and due to a lack of international travel and consequently the cancellation of multiple international events, KNEE added to his plethora of titles through domestic events. Currently, KNEE has entered TWT Official Online and Offline tournaments since June 2022 and has won five out of the seven events he has entered. And most importantly, in August 2022, KNEE finally returned to the global stage for the first time in three years in EVO 2022 Las Vegas, and held the trophy high above his head as he stood on top of the Tekken world.

This season, KNEE has entered 30 TWT tournaments and currently holds 19 championships, six second-place titles, and two third-place titles. Statistically, in the past six years, he has an incredible 92% podium-finish rate and an unprecedented 65% championship win rate. 

He shows no signs of slowing down and he continues to dominate his competition wherever he goes.
