MSI Round 2 brackets are finalized.

As MSI Play-In Round 1 has concluded on May 1st (local time), all teams advancing to Round 2 have been decided. Showing relatively impressive prowess, SuperMassive eSports (Turkey) will be joining Round 2 as first place from Group A, whereas Gigabyte Marines (SEA), which showed a dominating performance barring the last match, will be following from Group B as first place team.

As such, Round 2 matchups have took place with a group lottery. On May 3rd, TSM (NA) will face off against Gigabyte, and Flash Wolves (Taiwan) will play SuperMassive.

Specifically, the match of interest is on the fourth as Gigabyte’s showings in Round 1 have proved to be those of a dark horse. The team’s mid laner Optimus’ performance was especially potent. It remains to be seen if he can hold his own against the NA’s iconic mid laner, Bjergsen.
