UPDATE Jun. 2: Three more teams have announced their 2022 LPL Summer Split rosters for a total of eight. Victory Five have kept the exact same roster from spring heading into summer with the sole exception of mid laner Tan "Dream" Wen-Xiang once again slotting in behind Song "Rookie" Eui-jin, which he did until February 10, 2022 before departing to the V5 academy roster.

Top Esports are also running back the same roster from spring with the sole exception of one of team's three top laners, Zhang "Zoom" Xing-Ran, leaving to join Ultra Prime.

The most recent team to announce their 2022 LPL Summer Split roster is Bilibili Gaming. Following the departure of Uzi and the trading of Breathe for Bin in the top lane, the roster remains mostly the same. Duan "Duan" De-Liang has been promoted from the BLG Junior coaching staff, and mid laner Dai "xiaodai" Hong-Fei was also promoted from the BLG junior roster.

The 2022 LPL Summer Split kicks off on June 15, and as of June 1, five teams have announced their starting rosters.

Team WE was the first team to announce their full roster for the 2022 LPL Summer Split. After signing veteran AD carry Han "Smlz" Jin, who most recently played for Ultra Prime in the 2021 LPL Summer Split, Team WE also signed Royal Club support Peng "heal" Jun-Jie, who renamed from Reheal after joining his new team. At the same time, Team WE jungler Chen "beishang" Yu-Ming and AD carry  Guo "Stay" Yi-Yang departed for Team WE Academy. The rest of the WE roster remains the same.

Rare Atom was the next team to announce their roster, albeit with far fewer changes than Team WE. One of RA's three junglers in the Spring Split, Yu "JunJia" Chun-Chia, left the team, and head coach  Siu "Chris" Keung has been replaced by Xu "Endless" Hao.

Oh My God announced their roster for the 2022 LPL Summer Split as well, and like Rare Atom, things remained relatively the same. Top lane substitute Chang "M1kuya" Xiao has left OMG, and an addition mid laner and support — Chi "0909" Zhi-Hong and Zhou "Jerry" Ke-Xue, respectively — have been added to the squad. 

Despite an early elimination in the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs, defending world champion EDward Gaming have retained faith in the core of their roster. Coaches Chen "Ziv" Yi and Peng "Mni" Fang have been promoted from EDG Youth to work in the LPL alongside head coach Yang "Maokai" Ji-Song, and Junjia has returned to the squad as a jungle substitute in a reprisal of his role for EDG last summer. Top laner Huang "Xiaoxiang" Xiang has parted ways with EDG.

Royal Never Give Up is the most recent team to announce their roster for the 2022 LPL Summer Split mere days after winning the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational. Top laner Chen "Bin" Ze-Bin was traded to Bilibili Gaming in exchange for Chen "Breathe" Chen. The rest of RNG's roster remains the same.
