Bilibili Gaming have parted ways with legendary bot laner Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao. This follows an announcement from March this year, when Uzi announced he would take a break from competitive play to focus on improving his health.
BLG acquired Uzi last offseason as a substitute bot laner, with Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-Chuan functioning as the primary bot laner. During the 2022 LPL Spring Split, Uzi played in a total of nine games across four best-of-3's. Although his first game set high expectations, as he popped off on Jinx, he couldn't maintain form and Doggo kept playing as BLG's first choice.
Uzi is considered to be one of the greatest bot laners to have ever touched the game, being a renowned for his Vayne play specificially. It is unclear where Uzi will go next, or if he will join any team at all. He announced his retirement from competitive play in June 2021, citing chronic issues with his wrist as the main cause he put a stop to a then eight-year career.
The departure of Uzi is the second roster change BLG has announced. The team has also traded their top laner Breathe for RNG's Bin. For more roster news, follow our offseason megapost.

Storyteller by heart. If something is competitive, I am interested in it.
