In Lost Ark, the Glaivier is a class that utilizes stances to fight different foes, and has a mid-level difficulty. The two stances are Focus and Flurry, and the Glaivier can freely switch between the two and use skills tied to one of the two weapons. The Focus stance uses her spear, and the Flurry stance uses her glaive. While certain builds limit you to using just one weapon, to bring out the best of the Glaivier, you'll need to find the balance between the two weapons and stances.
The two class engravings of the Glaivier are Pinnacle and Control, which are so different that they almost play like two separate classes. The Pinnacle engraving replaces the Dual Meter Stage 3 effect, and provides extra bonuses on crit, damage, movement speed, attack speed, etc. With more specialization, the efficiency goes up as well.
The Control engraving disables the Focus stance and increases the damage of the Flurry skills. Instead of the swapping bonuses and the damage skills of the Focus stance, you'll get a bonus on Flurry skill damage along with its wide range, quick speed, and skill rotation.
Best Glaivier builds
Pinnacle Glaivier
The Pinnacle build changes the Flurry/Focus Stage 3 effect upon changing stances while the Dual Meter is maxed at level 3. The Pinnacle engraving makes it easier to retain a high crit rate. Its first awakening skill, Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Spear Meteor, is one of the best awakening skills in the game. The dual stances allow the Glaivier to be a versatile character. It's a bit more to maneuver, but it's well worth it.
It is recommended to go with Specialization and Swiftness when learning to play the Glaivier because it's more efficient. You don’t really need crit stats early on because you can select the 100% crit tripod in several main skills. For your desired stats, Specialization should be the primary focus. You’ll want to aim for a 70/30 ratio for Specialization and Swiftness as your desired stats.

Control Glaivier
The Control engraving disables the Focus stance, but increases the Flurry skill damage by 18%/27%/36%. Control Glaiviers can deal good damage with the additional Flurry skill damage, and the skill rotation gets rather easy. The gameplay becomes more dynamic, and it's easier to time your counters. Although the character is quite balanced, you’ll need to stay on the rear end of bosses to deal proper damage.
The desired stats of a Control Glaivier are Swiftness and Crit, with Swiftness being the main priority. Aim for about an 80/20 ratio on Swiftness and Crit.
