CSGO pros cadiaN and gla1ve reportedly get in confrontation at ESL Pro League

The action continued off-stage at ESL Pro League Season 15, with pro CSGO players Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander allegedly getting in a confrontation during the tournament.

Esports journalist Richard Lewis discussed the incident in the most recent episode of his Pop Flash CSGO podcast. According to Lewis, he received some information from an insider at the ESL Pro League, stating that the drama "spilled over backstage," with one pro player even "jumping across a sofa" to confront the other until someone intervened.

cadiaN and gla1ve are both IGLs, for Heroic and Astralis respectively, and are prominent members of the CSGO scene, making the altercation even more shocking to the community. It's unclear who initiated the conflict and details on what exactly went down are scarce.

At this point in time, there is no suggestion either player will be sanctioned for the confrontation, with ESL not commenting on the situation and Lewis himself stating on Twitter that no punishment is likely to be handed down.

cadiaN and gla1ve have shared heated words in the past, although the drama just stayed online. In 2020 — at the height of the coaching bug accusations — cadiaN stated that he and his teammates were unaware that coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen had been using the camera glitch, to which gla1ve responded that cadiaN's statement was in poor taste. Since then, the two have had frequent clashes on social media, most recently at the aforementioned ESL Pro League

Neither has discussed the matter publicly yet.
