The 2022 LPL Spring Split has concluded and the bracket for the Spring Playoffs has been set. The 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs will begin on Saturday March 26th with a round 1 match between Bilibili Gaming and Rare Atom.

Of any region in the global League of Legends esports ecosystem, the LPL boasts the largest post-season bracket with the top 10 of the 17 teams in the league eligible for qualification. While 8th seed BLG will take on 9th seed RA, 7th seed and defending world champion EDward Gaming will face off against 10th seed FunPlus Phoenix. The winners of those two matches will play against 5th seed Top Esports and 6th seed Weibo Gaming in round 2, respectively. 

The winners of the round 2 matches will move onto round 3 to face 4th seed LNG Esports on the upper side of the bracket or 3rd seed JD Gaming on the lower side of the bracket. LNG, or the team who defeats them, will be tasked with taking on 1st seed Victory Five, while the winner of the other round 3 match will take on defending Mid-Season Invitational champion Royal Never Give Up. 

From round 4 onward, the LPL Spring Playoffs bracket gets a bit more complex. The winners of the round 4 matches play against each other in the main bracket, and the losers, instead of being eliminated, will play against each other in a lower bracket. Round 5 will have only three teams: the two teams who are stlil undefeated will face each other for a guaranteed spot in the finals, and the team who loses that match will drop down to the lower bracket ot fight for the other finals spot.

The winner of the final match of the 2022 LPL Spring Playoffs will be crowned champion and will also represent China at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational.
