The STG 44 has proven to be one of the best Vanguard weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 2. This weapon is a top-tier performer, capable of incredible damage in close range and medium ranges if you can reduce its horizontal recoil and up its damage using attachments. We put together the best loadout for maximizing this gun's damage and effectiveness in Warzone Pacific Season 2.
Best attachments to use for the STG 44 in Warzone Pacific
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B Barrel
- Stock: VDD 27 Precision Stock
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
-
Magazine: 8 mm Kurz 60 Rnd Drum Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened Ammo
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk 1: Vital
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
MX Silencer
Stealth is important in Warzone, so adding a silencer to your set up is almost never a bad idea. The MX Silencer will keep you off the minimap, reduce the sound your weapon makes when it fires, and slightly improve your gun's recoil control as well.
VDD 760mm 05B Barrel
This barrel adds accuracy and damage at range. With this equipped, the STG is a verifiable beast at range. Keep in mind, this barrel is going to take away some of your movement speed, but it is well worth it to be more effective in your gunfights.
Optic of your preference
There are a ton of optics to choose from, and this one will come down to your personal preference.I personally like an optic with a little bit of zoom, but everyone is different.
VDD 27 Precision Stock
This stock is going to also reduce your movement speed, but in exchange, you are going to see a huge reduction in horizontal recoil. With this equipped, the STG is nothing short of a laser, since the biggest downside of the base version of this gun is its significant side-to-side recoil, which is much harder to control than vertical recoil.
M1941 Hand Stop
This underbarrel attachment will improve your recoil control and your aim-down-sights speed, making the STG feel much more controllable and responsive during gun fights.
7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
These extended magazines allow the STG to take out multiple enemies in a single-fire fight without the need to reload. While there are a lot of good possibilities in the mag category for this weapon, the 50 Rnd Mags have proven to be the most popular due to the utility and reliability that they add to the rifle.
Lengthened Ammo
Lengthened Ammo might be my favorite type of ammo in the whole game. This adds a significant bonus to your bullet velocity, which is going to add even more to the long-range abilities of this gun. High bullet velocity is also a huge quality of life feature since it makes the game feel much snappier and more responsive when your bullets hit more quickly.
Polymer Grip
Polymer Grip is the meta when it comes to rear grips. This grip reduces flinch while you are shooting, and improves your accuracy during sustained fire, allowing you to take full advantage of your 50 round extended magazines.
Vital
This straight-up makes the upper chest count as a crit, making it so that your gun can deal headshot damage to the upper chest. This is a powerful ability that is definitely worth equipping in Warzone Pacific Season 2.
Fully Loaded
This weapon perk will maximize your starting ammunition, allowing you to kick off every life with your maximum potential.
Best STG Perks and Equipment to use in Warzone Pacific Season 2
- Perk 1: E.O.D.
- Perk 2: Overkill
- Perk 3: Amped
- Lethal: Throwing knife
- Tactical: Stim
E.O.D
E.O.D. decreases the damage you take from explosives in Warzone. It is a great addition to any class setup since it will help you stay active and not have to worry so much about explosives during your games.
Overkill
Overkill lets you run two primary weapons. With the STG being best in medium and long-ranged fights, you want to have another primary slot dedicated to a short-range weapon like the MP40 to provide short-range support.
Amped
Weapon swap speed can be really important with the STG, since you are really only built out for mid to long-range fights. Complete this setup with the MP40 or another SMG for short-range, which you can quickly switch to due to the Amped perk.
Throwing Knife
While it isn't going to explode an enemy, the throwing knife's utility is hard to question. It allows you to quickly dispatch enemies who have been downed, without the need to reveal your location or reload afterward. Then you can pick up the knife and do it all again. It's not the sexiest option, but it is the most useful one.
Stim
Stim is also not the sexiest option, but its utility is never in doubt. Stim restores your health and your tactical sprint, giving you what amounts to a get-out-of-jail-free card. This is particularly important when you are aggressively slaying with your MP40, and need a quick touch-up in the middle of a fight.
