Super Smash Bros. Melee pros are suddenly big Adult Swim fans. 

Adult Swim, an adult-oriented chunk of television on Cartoon Network, randomly tweeted that Melee is better than Ultimate. The tweet caught the Super Smash Bros. community off guard, with many wondering what prompted the network to comment on the Smash scene. 

Even though the intention behind the random tweet was unknown, the Smash community had a lot of fun responding to the mystery sentiment. Mew2King gave a simple "LOL" while Hungrybox asked Mr. Swim to 1v1 him. Toph said "yeah right," jokingly noting Melee's blatant glitches. 

Casual players also got in on the phone. Many told Adult Swim to take an L for their "wrong" opinion. Smash.gg decided to put Adult Swim's alleged love of Smash to the test, asking who the network mained. Fans responded that they were still waiting for Adult Swim's answer. 

A lot of large corporations have started posting memes on their social media in an attempt to relate to potential customers. While amusing, it's not truly a surprise to see Adult Swim randomly comment on an ongoing debate in Smash. But it still seemed to come out of nowhere, providing a night of entertainment for outspoken Smash players.
