UPDATE Nov. 15: During the Dot Esports League of Legends Free Agency show, it was reported by Pablo "Bloop" Suárez that Nisqy indeed has no current destination for the 2022 season.

Bloop stated that Fnatic had and Cloud9 had failed to come to an agreement on Nisqy's buyout price in time for a plan to come to fruition.

Nisqy took to Twitter himself to state that the buyout negotiations were not the only factor in what has resulted in his teamlessness regarding competitive play for the 2022 season.

Yasin "Nisqy" Dincer stated on stream that there is a high likelihood he will not play competitively in the 2022 Spring Split. The mid laner has split his career between the LCS and the LEC for the past six years and most recently competed for Fnatic throughout the 2021 LEC season and at Worlds 2021.

Similar to his role on Cloud9 in 2020, Nisqy rarely functioned as the focal point of Fnatic in 2021, opting to provide late game insurance or more often than not, choosing a roam-centric champiopn to enable the carries of his team, but throughout the year, he remained as one of the stronger mid laners in the LEC regardless of Fnatic's standing at any given point. 

Since the beginning of his major region career for Team Envy in the 2017 LCS Summer Split, Nisqy has not stayed with one team for more than a year aside from Cloud9 from 2019-2020. Nisqy returned to Europe after his rookie split to play for Splyce in the 2018 season, and as previously mentioned, returned once again for Fnatic after his two years on C9.

Throughout his career, Nisqy has been widely considered anywhere from above average to plain excellent, so the mid laner's announcement on stream comes as a surprise to the LoL esports community.

Reports have pointed towards Nisqy leaving Fnatic to pursue his buyout options, with Cloud9 interested in reclaiming their former mid laner, and while there are no concrete reports on Fnatic's plans for the mid lane, rumors point towards a potential acquisition of Marek "Humanoid"  Brázda from MAD Lions.

Outside of the mid lane position, Fnatic's future roster remains unclear. LIttle is known about the team's future with AD carry Elias "Upset" Lipp after his sudden departure just before the start of the Worlds 2021 main stage, and reports point towards jungler Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau leaving as well. Only support Zdravets "Hylissang" Iliev Galabov is signed with Fnatic through 2023.
