On Aug 28, DWG KIA defeated T1 in the 2021 LCK Summer finals. With a 3-1 victory over T1, DWG KIA secured their spot at the 2021 LoL World Championships as LCK’s 1st seed.

The mid laner for DWG KIA, Heo “ShowMaker” Su, was named the LCK Finals MVP. Alongside the reward, he was awarded 5,000,000 KRW [4301.70 USD], as well as a bracelet from LCK’s newest partner, Tiffany & Co. 

In a short interview that was conducted on broadcast with ShowMaker, he commented, “I was actually hoping that Khan would receive it. I’ll make sure that Khan gets MVP at Worlds by babysitting top lane.”
