The 2017 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split regular season has concluded. During the two-month period, the top five teams including SKT T1, Samsung Galaxy, kt Rolster, Afreeca Freecs, and MVP have locked in their places in the playoffs.
On April 7th KST, fourth-placed Afreeca will face off against fifth-placed MVP in the Wildcard match at Sangam eStadium. The victor of the Wildcard match will advance to Round 1 of the playoffs to face off against the third-placed kt at Gangnam Nexon Arena. The winner of Round 1 will then be pitted against the second-place holder Samsung in Round 2 at Seoul eStadium.
The playoff grand finals between the Round 2 winner and the regular season’s first-placed SKT is set to take place on April 22nd at the Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium.
All matches will be best-of-five with the exception of the Wildcard match, which will be best-of-three. The spring season champions will receive 100 million KRW(approximately 90,000 USD) in prize money and qualify for the 2017 Mid-Season Invitational.
