Team Vitality has finalized the entirety of its League of Legends program ahead of the summer split. The French organization announced changes to its League of Legends European Championship Roster, La Ligue Française roster, and coaching staff, most notably, the acquisition of jungler Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek from Fnatic.

Selfmade's signing to Team Vitality is one of three previously reported alongside top laner Enzo "SLT" Gonzalez, who most recently played for Berlin International Gaming, and Adam "LIDER" Ilyasov, who most recently started in the mid lane for mousesports.

The solo laners will be stepping up to the LEC level alongside Selfmade and Vitality's bot lane, which remains the duo of AD carry Juš "Crownshot" Marušič and support Labros "Labrov" Papoutsakis. The re-tooled squad will be looking to improve on Vitality's Spring Split results, which saw the team finish in last place with a 5-13 record.

Spring split top laner Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen and jungler Duncan "Skeanz" Marquet will be moved down to Vitality.Bee, the organization's academy squad that competes in the LFL, and coaching staff changes have also been made. Vitality has parted ways with head coach Hadrien "Duke" Forestier and team director Gábor "The Minimalist" Fenyvesi, as well as Vitality.Bee jungler Jonas "Memento" Elmarghichi. 

Rumors of Vitality's acquisition of Selfmade began even before the start of the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational when reports pointed towards both Selfmade and top laner Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau rejecting contract extensions from Fnatic.

The reports ended up being true, with Bwipo moving to the jungle in Selfmade's place and Karmine Corp top laner Adam “Adam” Maanane taking Bwipo's place on the Fnatic starting roster. 

Mid laner Aljoša "Milica" Kovandžić will remain on the LEC roster as a substitute, and AD carry Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos, who was the starter in the first half of the Spring Split before Crownshot was signed, remains on the roster as a substitute as well.
