FlyQuest to produce Spanish co-stream for 2021 LCS season

Source: FlyQuest

Starting with the Week 1 season opener of the 2021 League of Legends Championship Series Spring Split between FlyQuest and TSM on February 5th, FlyQuest will produce a year-long Spanish-language co-stream featuring broadcast talent from the LATAM region. The co-stream will cover every LCS match (not just FlyQuest games) and extend through playoffs, providing Spanish-language fans of the LCS from all over the world a specialized experience to enjoy all season.

In addition to the organization's 2021 environmental initiative #BeeQuest, FlyQuest has worked to integrate Spanish into its branding  to appeal to fans acquired by signing superstar LATAM Brandon Joel "Josedeodo" Villegas in the off-season.

Josedeodo is the first-ever LCS import from the LLA and was signed after lighting up the Worlds 2020 stage with Rainbow7, and in signing him, FlyQuest has the potential to win over an entirely new fanbase while also having signed a talented individual player. Despite being delayed from arriving to compete for the LCS Lock In due to visa issues, Josedeodo looked strong in his first games with FlyQuest, especially given the circumstances not allowing much time to develop synergy.

Some of Latin America’s most popular broadcasters will showcase their greatness on the co-stream, including:

Viewers will always be able to catch the co-stream on twitch.tv/flyquest. Along the way, expect plenty of cameo appearances from other LATAM players, on-air talent and analysts as the year progresses.

FlyQuest faces off against TSM to open the 2021 LCS Spring Split on Friday, February 5 at 3:00pm PT.
