On the 18th (KST), T1 announced that they have signed support Ryu "Keria" Min-seok. Keria first had his debut in DragonX, being called up from a trainee. From his debut in 2020, Keria showed great performances and was called a monster rookie by many fans.
In the 2020 LCK Spring Split, Keria had outstanding performances and was ranked 3rd, in the season Player of the Game points with 1,000 points which were highest among the support players. He was voted on the All-LCK 1st team and received the Young Player Award for the split.
In the summer, Keria reached the finals with DRX but lost to DAMWON Gaming. At Worlds, DRX reached the quarterfinals but was denied by DAMWON Gaming again.
Although Keria’s performance in the summer wasn’t as great as the spring split, he was still a top-tier support in the league. Many teams were eager to sign him, and it turned out that he’ll be heading to T1.
T1 had a successful spring split in 2020 and won the LCK championship, but their performance wasn’t as great in the summer, ending in 5th place. They failed to reach the World Championship in the Regional Qualifiers as well. Recently, T1 announced that they signed Yang “Daeny” Dae-in as the head coach and Lee “Zefa” Jae-min as the main coach going into 2021.
