With a whopping 360+ million views on YouTube, it’s no surprise that League of Legends’ K/DA group would be gifting us with another single. Performed live by Madison Beer, Miyeon and Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, and Jaira Burns alongside projections of their League of Legends champions, the single “POP/STARS” exploded in popularity across fandom lines. Since its release in 2018, the infectious dance tune has inspired thousands of dance videos, countless cosplays of the champions, a collection of official merchandise, and, of course, generated major revenue in skin sales for League of Legends.
Announced today via the official K/DA Twitter, a teaser image followed by a handful of hashtags alluded to what we might expect from the group’s second single. The tweet confirms K/DA is back and uses the tags #CALLINGALLBLADES which many assume is the title of a full K/DA album followed by #THEBADDEST which fans speculate is the name of the pre-release single.
The Twitter account also updated its header image showing silhouettes of what look to be new outfits for the champions. Yes, Kai’sa, get ‘em with that high pony.

With the League of Legends Worlds event on the horizon, scheduled for September 25 in Shanghai, might we expect a repeat of the incredible POP/STARS performance from the 2018s event?
If you can’t get enough K/DA, you can head over to the Riot shop for some official gear to live out your own dreams of being a badass pop star and even your desk can get in the game with the newly released K/DA Akali gaming chair.
K/DA The Baddest releases August 27 at 12:00 PT on the League of Legends YouTube.
