The two most important questions when building your E1 Fantasy Lineup: Who do I pick? Who do I not pick? Well we heard you mumbling these questions to yourself and are giving you some help. Who to avoid is just as important as to who you flock towards as you need to make sure your whole lineup is set to pop-off, from Top to Team. We are giving you one player/team from each position to target and another one to run as far away from as you possibly can. Choose wisely!
PICK: Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho — 100 Thieves — $280,000 (vs Counter Logic Gaming & Golden Guardians)
Goodbye Ornn tank days, hello counter-pick carry days! Along with the roster swap, 100 Thieves have committed to playing through Ssumday up top. We have seen him on aggressive champions exclusively over the last few weeks, which is what you want for Fantasy. Before the stomp from the #1 team in NA (Team Liquid), Ssumday had 6 straight games over 15 points, 3 of which were 25+ points. Now he is matched up against a Top Laner committee with CLG (Deus/Ruin) and the worst KDA of Tops who have started every game this split (Hauntzer).
AVOID: Eric "Licorice" Ritchie — Cloud9 — $290,000 (vs Immortals & Team Liquid)
Licorice has now scored less than 15 points in 4 of his last 5 games. We know C9 will come back, but Licorice's reign as best Fantasy option at Top may be over.
PICK: Juan "Contractz" Garcia — 100 Thieves — $260,000 (vs Counter Logic Gaming & Golden Guardians)
Don't let the 0-2 week fool you, 100 Thieves continues to prove that this revamped roster can compete with anybody in the LCS. Contractz has brought skilled aggression to the team as him and Ssumday have shown fantastic synergy. With two very winnable games this weekend, both team ranking as top 6 fantasy matchups for Junglers, Contractz will be pushing that aggression just as much.
AVOID: Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek — Fnatic — $270,000 (vs MAD Lions & Origen)
Bug go splat. You could not think of a worse schedule for a weekend. Especially for a team that looks completely lost right now.
PICK: Emil "Larssen" Larsson — Rogue — $360,000 (vs Misfits & G2 Esports)
NA or EU, Larssen is the hottest player in fantasy LoL. He has another strong 2-0 week ahead of him, and he proved again last week that Rogue revolves completely around him. In last week's 2-0, Larssen participating in 26 of Rogue's 27 Kills, claiming 14 Kills of those for himself. Absolute monster.
AVOID: Rasmus "Caps" Winther — G2 Esports — $330,000 (vs FC Schalke 04 & Rogue)
I know, it's Caps. But did you watch G2 last week? You can't tell me you have more confidence in Caps than you do in Humanoid at the same price.
PICK: Elias "Upset" Lipp — Origen — $350,000 (vs Team Vitality & Fnatic)
He is back!! OG looked like a completely different team with Jactroll in at Support. However, the part of OG that hasn't changed is that Upset is their fantasy superstar. Even with all the rough weeks, Upset is still leading all players in Fantasy points per game. I even had the same amount of LEC deaths as Upset last week (0, I don't play in the LEC).
AVOID: Martin "Rekkles" Larsson — Fnatic — $280,000 (vs MAD Lions & Origen)
It was an ugly 2-0 for Fnatic and an even uglier 65 points for Rekkles last week. MAD Lions and Origen won't let that happen this week.
PICK: Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser — MAD Lions — $210,000 (vs Fnatic & SK Gaming)
Overshadowed by LIMIT just lighting the entire fantasy LoL industry on fire, Kaiser once again scored over 40 points in a week. He hasn't gone below 30 points in a week a single time this season, a number that other Supports would absolutely die for. Consistent as they come here.
AVOID: Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle — G2 Esports — $150,000 (vs FC Schalke 04 & Rogue)
Mikyx went negative last week… NEGATIVE. Even expecting major improvements, he is still a ways away from a must start.
PICK: Origen — $290,000 (vs Team Vitality & Fnatic)
The best chance at a clean 2-0 week of any LCS or LEC team right here. Even if they don't get a lot of Dragons, you will take two wins from your team every time, even better when it costs under $300k.
AVOID: Cloud9 — $310,000 (vs Immortals & Team Liquid)
Here it is! The moment you have all been waiting for… C9 Team on the avoid list! I am legitimately nervous that they will lose to TL, and I would rather take MAD Lions at the same price every day of the week (and twice on Tuesdays).
