Jason "WildTurtle" Tran has just reached 1500 career Regular Season kills after finding a greedy Robert "Blaber" Huang trying to sneak into a flank position! He is the second player to reach the mark, trailing right behind Yiliang "Peter" "Doublelift" Peng, who reached the 1500 mark earlier this Spring. WildTurtle is just shy of 2000 total kills when including Playoffs, and 2225 total including international events.
Turtle has one of the longest careers in the LCS, reaching back to 2013, and has been playing with FlyQuest the past few years. He and FlyQuest made it to the Finals last Spring, losing to Cloud9 in three games, but have turned it on even more this Summer. WildTurtle sat out for a few weeks earlier this Summer, with FlyQuest promoting Brandon "MasH" Phan to the main squad, but has since returned to earn that 1500th kill. Keep up with him and the team as they compete to be a top squad as we near Playoffs.
We spoke with him after he reached the mark, and he shared his favorite memory throughout his career. "My best memory was the 2016 Finals playing back home in Toronto. I played in the third place match for Immortals. It's one of my sweetest memories for sure."
