Week 3 of the Summer Split for both the League of Legends Championship Series and the League of Legends European Championship is only a day away, but before lineups are locked in, let's take a look at the top scorers in week 2 of Inven Global's Esports One Fantasy League of Legends League.
FlyQuest went 2-0 against TSM and Dignitas in week 2 of the 2020 LCS Summer Split, and Solo was a big part of the team's success. Solo's resiliency on Ornn in both games against the Volibears of Sergen "Broken Blade" Çelik and Omran "V1per" Shoura earned him 4/3/27 KDA and a fantasy best in the top lane of 58.75 points.
Santorin had 90% kill participation in FlyQuest's 2-0 week 2, and continued to establish himself as the Troll King of the LCS by earning the Mastercard LCS Player of the Week Award for his performance on Trundle to the tune of 71.33 points.
Humanoid was a highlight performer for MAD Lions in the team's 2-0 week against Fnatic and Team Vitality. Humanoid favored control mages in week 2, first going 6/2/6 on Orianna against Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek's Twisted Fate and then 9/5/7 on Syndra against the Nautilus of Team Vitality's rookie Mid Laner Aljoša "Milica" Kovandžić. Nemesis' high-kill totals were instrumental in his fantasy score of a 69.92 points, a mid lane best.
Origen enjoyed a 2-0 week 2 over the likes of Fnatic and Excel Esports, and Upset was the primary benefactor of the team's overall performance in terms of fantasy points. Upset followed up an 8/0/6 Aphelios performance with a 11/2/3 Ezreal performance for a score of 79.61 fantasy points, the highest of all players in week 2 of the LCS and LEC Summer Splits.
Wukong has been a revelation for MAD Lions in the bot lane, usually in the form of Kaiser playing it while Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság fasts on Senna to enable the monkey King. Kaiser's Wukong helped MAD Lions secure a win against Fnatic, but his 1/0/18 Bard performance against Team Vitality skyrocketed his fantasy points to a Support best of 48.35 points.
Cloud9 has dominated the LCS all season long, so it's not surprising to see them score the most points of any team in the LCS or LEC on any given week of summer. C9 won its first game by continuing to abuse Olaf in the hands of Jungler Robert "Blaber" Huang against Evil Geniuses. In C9's second match of week 2, Blaber didn't get his hands on Olaf for the first time, but despite a less-than-stellar early game on Nocturne, Cloud9 as a whole was able to go 2-0 with 65 fantasy points.
