Late Wednesday, June 24th, Immortals announced they'd released head coach, Thomas "Zaboutine" Si-Hassen, and GM, Keaton Cryer. The duo started with Immortals last Fall, and were included in Immortals' acquisition of OpTic Gaming, where they had been since the start of the League of Legends Championship Series Franchising in Spring 2018.

Immortals finished 8th place this Spring, after losing their tiebreaker matches that could have qualified them to Playoffs. They started the Spring Split off very strong, but part way through the season, they began losing games and eventually replaced Bot Laner Johnny "Altec" Ru with their Academy AD Carry, Apollo "Apollo" Price. This off-season, however, they reversed that move, and additionally promoted Academy Jungler, Nicholas "Potluck" Pollock, and Support, Austin "Gate" Yu, over LCS Jungler, Jake "Xmithie" Puchero, and Support, Nickolas "Hakuho" Surgent. The team has started the season 0-4, tied for last with Dignitas.

In a report by ESPN's Jacob Wolf, Immortals have found replacements for each position. Reportedly, former LA Valiant GM, Mike Schwartz, will temporarily hold the Immortals GM position, and current Immortals assistant coach, Adrien "GotoOne" Picard, and Analyst Paul "Malaclypse" Decsi, will fuction as a duo the coaching role.
