APK Prince has signed mid laner Mickey.
On the 29th (KST), APK Prince announced that they’ve acquired mid laner Son “Mickey” Young-min in their mid lane. Mickey had played in Excel Esports in the previous season but had parted ways with the team after a 7th place finish. As of the announcement, Mickey will be returning to APK Prince who he had played for briefly in 2019.
Mickey had debuted in 2013 and has been in many different teams around the world including Afreeca Freecs, ROX Tigers, and Team Liquid. He is one of the few players that has experience in all four major regions. On returning to APK Prince, Mickey said, "I'd like to thank APK Prince for another chance to play in the LCK. This may be the last chance for me to continue as a pro player. I feel a bit pressured and I won't be able to play as my debut when I had nothing to lose, but I'll do my best to show good performances."
APK Prince was promoted to the LCK prior to the 2020 spring split. Despite their struggles in the early season, they adjusted quickly to the league, demonstrating their aggressive style and succeeded to stay in the league by finishing in 7th place.
