TSM has released former Jungler, Joshua "Dardoch" Hartnett, from their League of Legends Championship Series roster a few weeks after leaking that they were searching to find him a new home for the Summer. Dardoch originally signed with TSM last Fall, and only played with the team for the 2020 Spring Split. Along with an AD Carry shift, replacing Kasper "Kobbe" Kobberup for Yiliang "Peter" "Doublelift" Peng, Dardoch is the only other roster change for the team so far.
TSM has been in a string of controversies this off-season. First, they were questioned and investigated for possible poaching/conflict of interest in the signing of Doublelift - who is dating TSM President, Leena Xu - though Riot Games officials found no evidence of tampering. However, shortly after, Xu could be overheard on Doublelift's stream saying, "No one wants to pick up Dardoch. That’s not my fault." Then a few days later, TSM support, Vincent "Biofrost" Wang, leaked a Discord message showing all of TSM's roster in a meeting, excluding Dardoch and including Mingyi "Spica" Lu, their Academy Jungler.
TSM has not responded with an official statement on their work to find Dardoch a new home, nor have they officially announced their replacement Jungler. Inven Global is reaching out for comment on his future, and will update the story upon reception of further information.
UPDATED: 5/26
Dardoch has signed with Dignitas, who released former Jungler, Jonathan "Grig" Armao, earlier this off-season. However, the team played the end of their LCS Spring Split with Matthew "Akaadian" Higginbotham and has not made any official announcement of whether Dardoch or Akaadian will be starting in the LCS. This makes the third TSM jungler to transfer to Dignitas since last off-season.
