FlyQuest has signed Support Terry "Big" Chuong to start for FlyQuest Academy. Big will be taking the place of Juan "JayJ" Guibert, who spent the last year of his 2.5 year tenure with the organization as the starting Support for FLY Academy.
Big's return to professional play in the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Academy League Summer Split will mark his first competitive game since the 2019 LCS Summer Split with OpTic Gaming. Big remained with the organization when it was purchased by Immortals, but was released two months later. Big's debut with FLY Academy will be his first professional appearance of 2020.
Big was technically a substitute for Counter Logic Gaming briefly in 2014, but his true professional debut was under the moniker 'Baby' as the starting Support for Team Dragon Knights in the 2015 NA LCS Summer Split.
In the 2020 LCS Academy League Spring Split, FlyQuest Academy was unable to follow up to FlyQuest's success in the LCS of a top 4 Spring Split finish and a Spring Finals appearance in the post-season. FLY Academy's 8th place finish marked the third split in a row the team has failed to qualify for the post-season.
