Cloud9 Academy has eliminated TSM Academy from the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Academy League Spring Playoffs in a 3-1 victory in the Semifinals. C9 Academy will face Evil Geniuses Academy in the Finals, the latter of whom triumphed over Dignitas Academy in their respective Semifinals match. 

TSM Academy came out of the gate in impressive fashion and locked up the first win convincingly, but it would be its last triumph of the day on Summoner's Rift. C9 Academy adjusted and evened up the series, then pulled ahead with the most convincing victory of the series in game 3. 

C9 Academy again pulled in front of TSM Academy in game 4, but TSM fought back valiantly. However, the dam broke when Mid Laner Cristian "Palafox" Palafox secured a Pentakill on Kassadin in a wild ace teamfight for C9 Academy. When all was said and done, Palafox ended the game with 17 kills on The Void Walker. C9 entered the 2020 LCS Academy League Spring Playoffs as the 1st seed, and it will look to match that with a championship against EG Academy next week.
