Invictus Gaming has extended their winning streak to five through the mechanics of their upper half and aggressive dives.
In the 2020 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring Split, Invictus Gaming defeated LGD Gaming 2-1. With today’s win, Invictus Gaming continued their undefeated record at 5-0. They are currently the only undefeated team in the league.
Invictus Gaming stressed their strengths, their upper half’s mechanics well in Game 1. Although Kalista was banned which Kang “TheShy” Seung-rok played twice in the last game, Invictus Gaming picked Lucian and Varus right away. This time, Lucian was Song “Rookie” Eui-jin’s pick. The fights in the game were in Invictus Gaming’s favor. Lucian’s performance was phenomenal, even winning 4v5 situations through Rookie’s mechanics.
LGD Gaming struck back in Game 2. Han “Peanut” Wang-ho joined the bot lane fights well and picked up several kills and Hu “Yuuki” Hao-ming’s Azir stood ground solidly in mid lane. Especially, Yuuki marked TheShy’s Aatrox perfectly and LGD took the second game.
In Game 3, Invictus Gaming substituted in Gao “Ning” Zhen-ning. By laying more strength in top lane, Invictus Gaming penetrated through Ornn’s defense. In this game, Peanut again headed towards the bot lane and collected many kills. However, Invictus Gaming stayed calm and won the fourth dragon fight. With an additional Baron buff, Invictus Gaming destroyed LGD Gaming’s last Nexus in 28 minutes.
