The Warcraft 3: Reforged release was about as rocky as it gets, with player complaints covering just about every aspect of the game. From cutscenes, to coloring, to bugs, and customization, everything seemed to need correction and much more work. Essentially, Blizzard released an unfinished product, and fans called them out on it, even mass requesting refunds.
Devs recently responded to some of that criticism on their forum and explained why they made some of those controversial decisions that caused all this uproar. Their explanation fell flat, however, with most of the comments either showing further frustration or exclaiming their jubilence in having already gotten a refund.
Furthermore, many of the initial frustrations and complaints weren't even acknowledged - many of them the more core issues fans had, like how Blizzard was handling the modding on the new . They admitted to not having everything covered, but gave no timeline or insight on how they would approach the rest of the work that needs to be done. For many, this entire post felt like a non-answer.
