Legendary LCK team, T1, just announced a partnership with Nike. The original announcement was made from their League of Legends Twitter, but they state they are taking this partnership beyond just esports, bringing their brand to fans globally.
T1, formerly known as SKT, recently partnered with Comcast Spectacor leading to their rebrand to T1. They have been pushing the boundaries in esports, fielding teams across multiple titles, hiring new staff members from around the globe, and handling their rebranding situation professionally and with well crafted, thought out design. Nike joins them almost a year later to push the bill even further.
Nike has been involving themselves in esports more and more throughout the years, partnering with the entire LPL, Uzi, etc. Details of their partnership with T1 aren't announced yet, but follow here for news on what you can expect soon. Other sportswear brands like Puma and K Swiss have gotten in the scene, as well as Louis Vuitton, of course.
The LCK season starts in a few weeks, so get ready to see T1 in some flashy gear soon, and in the meantime, check back here for more news on T1, the LCK, and Nike in esports.
