Legendary Mid Laners: Bjergsen meets Faker while TSM bootcamps in South Korea

Bjergsen meets Faker

Preparing for the 2020 season of the LCS, TSM has practiced pre-season strategies in China and South Korea. While visiting the country, Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg met up with Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok to catch up and play Korean battle card.

TSM had initially planned to bootcamp in China, however, due to server issues and their top laner Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik being unable to obtain a visa to travel to China, the team had to quickly find an alternate route. In their Reddit announcement, TSM said “this is our first bootcamp as a new team and we very much missed our favourite top laner who couldn’t attend in person due to visa issues — so we’re looking to reunite with him in Korea.”

The reason TSM had picked China as their bootcamp location in the first place was to gain experience against both Chinese and Korean teams, given that the upcoming League of Legends Worlds Championship will be taking place in Shanghai, but due to server issues, TSM was unable to maintain accounts on the Korean server. No Korean accounts meant no Korean solo queue or scrims.

Time to play the game that really matters: Korean battle card

To the luck of LCK fans, TSM met up with T1 for scrimming, and while they were at it, they created incredibly wholesome content. Today, T1 released a video of the legendary mid laners meeting up to chat about TSM's experience in Korea and play a good game of battle card. Bjergsen explained that with the new roster, the team has an opportunity to bond over this experience in Korea, and when the players were asked what it was like to meet each other again, Faker said "I always have a soft spot in my heart for veteran players".
