Dplus KIA has been sent to the lower bracket after a loss to the LPL team AL.

Dplus KIA managed to secure advantages in both the top and bottom lanes early on. Despite a shaky start, DK did not shy away from fighting AL when they invaded their jungle, managing to trade kills and keep the global gold difference even. However, AL gained a significant lead as a skirmish in the top lane dragged on longer than expected.

AL went on to win the Dragon teamfight, reaching three stacks. Even so, the global gold gap remained narrow, leaving DK with enough opportunities to turn the game around with a single successful teamfight. Most notably, DK had drafted Jayce as a carry, but 'Show's' Jayce fell completely behind. He struggled so much with his growth that he was even solo-killed by 'Flandre's' Shen in a side lane, making the game much easier for AL to manage.

AL later won a mid teamfight and secured the Dragon Soul. With the situation looking grim and no clear advantage in their team composition, the only well-fed member for DK was 'Smash's' Jhin. AL slowly tightened their grip on the game. With both their tanks and damage dealers ahead of DK, they closed out the match by destroying the Nexus without taking any unnecessary risks.
