T1 secured a dominant victory over Nongshim RedForce in their 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match, held at LoL Park in Jonggak on the 13th. With this win, T1 extended their winning streak, bringing their record to 9-4 and maintaining their upward momentum.

In Game 1, Faker’s Ryze teamed up with Oner’s Xin Zhao to take down Sponge’s Jarvan IV, followed by a kill on Fleta’s Neeko in the bottom lane. Although Nongshim managed to secure some kills by focusing on the bottom lane, T1 pulled ahead by winning the dragon fight. However, Nongshim later managed to turn the kill score in their favor thanks to a brilliant play by Fleta’s Neeko.

The bottom lane remained a hotspot for skirmishes. This time, T1 recorded three kills without losing a single player and went on to secure the dragon. With a lead in jungle growth, T1 aggressively invaded the opponent's jungle, where they caught Jarvan IV again with the help of an ultimate from Peyz’s Ashe.

Frustrated, Nongshim's Jarvan IV attempted a forced initiation in the mid lane, but it was a misplay. T1 capitalized with a massive victory, widening the gold gap to over 5k within 17 minutes. Pressuring the mid lane, T1 destroyed the second-tier tower, secured a pentakill for Ashe, and took Baron Nashor to seal the game, finishing it in 24 minutes.

In the following second game, Sponge’s Pantheon caught Oner’s Wukong, who had invaded the jungle to steal raptors. A skirmish broke out in the bottom lane, resulting in a trade between Corki and Milio as Pantheon joined the fray. T1 began to gain momentum as Faker’s Akali solo-killed Scout’s Viktor in the mid lane, while Doran’s K'Sante solo-killed Kingen’s Rumble in the top lane. Faker’s Akali then went on to secure another kill on Viktor.

Nongshim attempted a counterattack, showing excellent coordination in a dragon team fight where Viktor picked up multiple kills, leading to a major win for Nongshim. A tense stalemate followed. Eventually, T1 broke the deadlock in a mid-lane team fight, taking down Nongshim's key damage dealers—Viktor and Corki—along with their jungler, Pantheon, before securing Baron. Having firmly seized control, T1 used the Baron buff to push through the mid lane, destroy Nongshim's Nexus, and secure a clean 2-0 victory.
