On the 26th, T1 secured a 2-0 victory against BNK FEARX in their home-ground match during Round 1 of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), held at the Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon. Following his performance against Hanwha Life Esports Brion the previous day, Ryu Min-seok, known as 'Keria,' once again delivered a series of super plays on Alistar and Lux.
T1 started strong in Game 1. After securing a duo kill, Kim Su-hwan ('Peyz') on Jhin and Ryu Min-seok ('Keria') on Alistar intervened in a jungle skirmish to pick up additional kills. Moon Hyeon-jun ('Oner') on Xin Zhao also successfully stole a dragon from Jeon Eo-jin ('Raptor') on Nocturne and even managed a solo kill. With a firm grip on the bottom lane, T1 used Alistar and Xin Zhao to force engagements and accumulate advantages.
A struggling BNK FEARX targeted Lee Sang-hyeok ('Faker') on Orianna, who was defending the bottom lane alone. However, Alistar appeared just in time, and it was Nocturne who ended up being caught instead. T1 pushed down the mid-lane tier-two tower with the Rift Herald. Although Orianna and Choi Hyun-joon ('Doran') on Jayce were caught in the side lanes, it did not affect the overall outcome. Scoring around Alistar and securing the Baron, T1 marched into the enemy base and destroyed the Nexus in just over 23 minutes to take Game 1.
The two teams took different approaches in Game 2. 'Peyz' and 'Keria' drafted a powerful Caitlyn-Lux bottom lane duo and lived up to the hype by securing two duo kills. Conversely, BNK FEARX scored consecutive points in the top lane, fueled by a solo kill from Song Hyeon-min ('Clear') on Kante. BNK FEARX pushed their advantage further as Yu Ji-myeong ('Daystar') on Akali picked up two solo kills, and thanks to the well-fed Kante and Akali, they dominated the subsequent skirmishes.
Although 'Keria's' Lux created highlight moments—such as landing bindings on the engaging Akali and locking down the enemy bottom duo—it wasn't enough to stop the onslaught of the fed Kante, Naafiri, and Akali. BNK FEARX took the Baron while T1's attention was focused on Akali. However, T1 turned the tide in the ensuing teamfight by wiping out the enemy team. Choi Hyun-joon ('Doran') on Rumble landed a perfect ultimate, creating a free-fire zone for Caitlyn. Using Lux as bait to mop up the remaining forces also proved effective.
Around the 27-minute mark, a major blunder occurred when Akali was caught while invading T1's jungle. BNK FEARX tried to at least secure their third dragon, but T1 snatched it away. T1 lost a teamfight and conceded the Baron after Caitlyn was caught while Azir was absent. However, after taking down Kante, T1 headed to the top lane, secured additional kills in the following skirmish, and destroyed the top inhibitor. Ultimately, T1 succeeded in protecting Caitlyn during the final teamfight to close out Game 2.
