kt Rolster has achieved a 7-game winning streak for the first time since the team's founding.

On the 22nd, at the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 1 match held at LoL PARK in Jongno, kt Rolster faced off against Kiwoom DRX. Despite a shaky start in the first set, they secured a victory using Sivir and Yuumi, and went on to comfortably defeat their opponents in the second set by centering their gameplay around Trundle.
In Game 1, kt Rolster’s 'Bdd' rotated his Annie to the bottom lane, securing an early trade advantage before the minions even spawned, putting the DRX bottom lane at a slight deficit. However, DRX’s 'Andil' made a great play to take down 'Aiming's' Sivir and 'Effort's' Yuumi to stabilize the game. Meanwhile, in the top lane, Sion was struggling against Jayce after giving up a solo kill, but 'Willer's' Xin Zhao secured kills on Jayce via ganks and on Annie in the mid lane.
DRX also found success with 'Ucal's' Aurora roaming to the top lane. Despite this, kt Rolster’s Sivir was growing well, and the gold difference remained negligible. DRX used the Rift Herald to destroy the mid-lane tier-1 tower and took down Sivir. 'Ucal's' Aurora also narrowly escaped an ambush initiated by Annie and later recorded a kill in the following skirmish, keeping the momentum in DRX's favor.
However, kt Rolster turned the tide in a mid-lane teamfight where Sivir survived to dish out damage, leading to a decisive win and a dragon take. DRX then attempted to bait a teamfight by starting Baron. Although they gained a numbers advantage by taking down 'PerfecT's' Jayce, they failed to kill Sivir, and kt Rolster won the fight. kt Rolster won the subsequent teamfight as well, widening the gold gap to 7,000, and comfortably closed out Game 1.
In Game 2, kt Rolster’s 'Cuzz' on Trundle and 'Bdd' on Orianna chased down 'Willer's' Nocturne to secure the first blood. kt Rolster proceeded to gain comfortable leads in all lanes. In a difficult spot, DRX managed to take down 'Aiming's' Ashe through pure bottom-lane pressure.
However, kt Rolster continued to dictate the pace of the game around Trundle, efficiently stacking dragons. After gaining an advantage in the bottom lane, they secured a decisive victory in the Rift Herald teamfight, widening the gold gap to 5,000 by the 16-minute mark. From there, kt Rolster intensified their pressure, easily overwhelming their opponents to close out the series 2-0.
