T1 defeated Kiwoom DRX 2-0 in the first round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 19th, bringing their record to 3 wins and 3 losses.

In Game 1, T1 focused their efforts on the bottom lane to take down 'Andil's' Anivia. Keria's Camille then roamed to the mid lane to target 'Ucal's' Ryze, but the play failed, resulting in Keria being caught instead. Despite this, T1 maintained a slight lead in the game. T1 leveraged their initiative to widen the gold gap; while both teams traded kills in dragon and Rift Herald skirmishes, T1 came out ahead, significantly increasing their gold lead.
T1 continued to secure dragons, gradually widening the overall gap. The gold difference grew substantial, leading to a clear disparity in combat power. In a difficult situation, KRX managed to steal the Baron, buying themselves some time. However, the gap remained too large, and T1 closed out the game in 31 minutes by destroying the Nexus without further trouble.
In the following second game, Kiwoom DRX successfully countered T1's aggression in the bottom lane to pick up two kills, but shortly after, T1 managed a 2-for-1 trade in a 2v2 skirmish. Doran's Vayne was winning the lane against 'Rich's' Renekton, and the bottom lane duo of Ashe and Seraphine were having a stable laning phase.
Kiwoom DRX's 'LazyFeel' on Yunaara engaged aggressively using Lulu's ultimate, but Ashe survived and they managed to take down Yunaara instead. Kiwoom DRX's 'Willer' on Vi and 'Ucal' on Orianna then targeted 'Faker's' Azir. However, Faker pulled off a spectacular play under the tower, surviving the encounter and taking down both opponents.
As T1 maintained their momentum, Kiwoom DRX managed to pick off an opponent, causing T1 to falter. At a crucial moment, Kiwoom DRX caught Doran's Vayne and 'Oner's' Pantheon, allowing them to secure three dragon stacks and catch up in gold.
However, T1 secured a decisive victory in a team fight near the Baron pit and immediately pushed to end the game, destroying Kiwoom DRX's Nexus to claim the win.
